Singapore, 3 July 2026: ICONS Beauty Group exhibit at MakeUp in Paris 2026.
Following our successful Paris debut last year, the exhibition once again provided an excellent opportunity to connect with beauty brands, product developers and industry professionals from across Europe and the UK, while sharing the latest packaging innovations shaping the future of beauty.
✨Level Up: Next-gen beauty packaging
Level Up: Next-Generation Beauty Packaging
Our Level Up theme continued to evolve at MakeUp in Paris, reflecting how beauty packaging is moving beyond functionality to combine sustainability, accessibility and consumer engagement.
This year’s collection focused on packaging that is:
- Sustainable – simplified material choices, mono-material solutions and scalable innovation.
- Accessible – intuitive formats, ergonomic designs and user-friendly functionality.
- Experiential – tactile finishes, playful forms and packaging designed to encourage interaction.
Rather than simply presenting new products, the collection demonstrated how packaging can create value at every stage of the consumer journey, from first impressions on shelf to everyday use, while supporting the industry’s move towards more sustainable solutions.
Key Packaging Trends from MakeUp in Paris 2026
🧴 Sensory Beauty Experiences
Beauty packaging continues to become more experience-led, with innovative applicators, tactile finishes and playful formats transforming everyday routines into more engaging consumer experiences.
Our Jelly Applicator Collection brought this trend to life across sticks and duo-end wands, demonstrating how soft silicone applicators can enhance comfort, precision and product interaction across colour cosmetics and hybrid beauty formats.
🫧 Smarter Dispensing Solutions
As skincare, hybrid beauty and on-the-go routines continue to grow, dispensing systems are becoming an increasingly important part of the product experience.
Our Push Button Droppers, Slow-Release Sprayers and Powder Spray Tubes showcased how thoughtful dispensing solutions can improve precision, convenience and ease of use, while helping brands create products that feel more premium and intuitive.
🎀 Portable, Playful Packaging
Consumers continue to embrace compact, collectible formats that fit seamlessly into modern lifestyles.
From heart-shaped packs to keychain-ready concepts, our latest designs demonstrated how portable packaging can combine convenience with emotional appeal, creating products that encourage gifting, discovery and repeat purchase.
🌍 Sustainability in Action
With PPWR continuing to influence packaging decisions across Europe, brands are increasingly seeking solutions that balance environmental responsibility with strong consumer appeal.
Our Collapsible Bottle, alongside other mono-material innovations, demonstrated how packaging can reduce material complexity, improve product evacuation and support more sustainable packaging strategies without compromising functionality or design.
